Edmonton Engagement Photographer | Outfit Coordination Part 1
I have been getting a TON of questions lately from my clients before sessions, asking what should I wear? Or if I'm wearing this colour of dress, what should my fiance/husband wear? Or what goes well with burgundy/mustard/beige/olive green etc?
Not going to lie, Pinterest is a great friend in this case. But I'll share a few colour palettes below to help give you an idea of what kind of colours go well together.
If you've been following along for awhile, y'all know I am in LOVE with burgundy, so needless to say, this colour palette is for sure one of my faves.
The other sweet thing about this one is that it goes really well with nature, especially the mountains (eg. an engagement session in Canmore). With the green and dark burgundy colours, it coordinates well with alpine forests and florals.
Where are my water lovers? Light purple and grey is a great combo, as well as navy and grey, or light purple and steel blue (the bottom 2).
These colours look amazing in water or beach settings, as the grey, blue and purple nicely coordinate with water tones, whether its shades of teal, deep blue, or more grey.
This palette is perfect for fall. Picture those gorgeous orange/yellow/red leaves, as beautiful bokeh in the background.
Brown and reddish burgundy always go well together, as well as beige and deep merlot red.
Last but not least, this palette includes some burgundy, but also more neutral colours (can you tell I'm a neutral gal?!)
Beige and burgundy are always a great combo, as well as light purple or burgundy with grey. Grey and beige are common wardrobe colours too, which makes it handy.
Here's a link to my pinterest board to give you some ideas while you wait for part 2!
Stay tuned for part 2! I'll have some photos of actual clothing that go well together, so you can have an even better idea of how to dress up for your engagement or couple's session!
